I was hired by the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) to design and install their eMotion Art Exhibit, featuring more than 200 pieces of art by orthopedic surgeons and their patients, including paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures and children’s art. The artwork was intertwined with the history and future of orthopedics. I designed the wall layout and art displays, and worked hand in hand with a design firm in Maine to lay out the exhibit and lighting. I was also responsible for curating the artwork following the guidelines of orthopedic progress. The show was exhibited for a week in San Francisco’s Moscone Center West during the AAOS annual meeting, with over 35,000 attendees.
